Helpdesk Support Technician – 25K – 28K – Liverpool
My client is looking for a Helpdesk Support Technician to join their technical team. You will act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, security incidents, and service requests within the business. Deliver 1st line support with a strong emphasis on resolving issues at first contact, ensuring excellent service delivery. Handle ticket management, maintain SLAs, and meet KPIs to provide users with timely and efficient support and you will be escalating complex issues to 2nd line or appropriate resolver groups as needed.
Duties include:
- Offer both deskside and remote IT support to the business user base, ensuring effective resolution of technical issues and providing assistance with IT-related needs.
- Administering Active Directory
- Administer and maintain VOIP and digital phone systems, ensuring seamless functionality and delivering an optimal communication experience for customers.
- Troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues
- Manage service & security incidents within a service desk ticketing solution
- Engage in production support and drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine team workflows and deliver high-quality solutions consistently.
Critical Competencies:
- Minimum 1 year working in a support role
- Active Directory
- Windows 10 / 11 operating systems
- Office 365
- VoIP Telephony
- Linux and Mac support
- Excellent customer service skills
- Anti-malware solution support
An appropriate qualifications would also be a bonus.
