Resume of Position: To maintain a high standard of territory control through continuous optimisation to ensure maximum efficiency and customer service is always met.
Responsibilities
- Transport run management to include adding new customers to existing runs, changing runs or driver start times to maintain service level agreements, building new runs, planning early loading, same day deliveries and overspill accounts to maintain compliance and cost efficiencies.
- Communicate within the transport team to include liaising with drivers to ensure they have all necessary information and equipment to fulfil their duties, Driver Co-Ordinator to ensure the run length is efficient and drivers are being utilised effectively and Head of Transport to ensure customers are correctly allocated within the territory we serve.
- Utilise planning tools such as Maxoptra and Web Fleet for analysis of runs, cost efficiency, compliance and driver performance.
- Complete Driver Return to works.
- Attend monthly 1 to 1\’s and departmental meetings.
- Comply with company core values or Respect, Teamwork, Customer Service, Excellence and Quality.
- To comply with Company Health & safety policy and take responsibility of your actions and report any Health & Safety and Food Safety concerns.
- Ensure that the quality, safety and legalities of all products are adhered to in all aspects of Food Safety including in relation to temperature control and maintenance of the chill chain.
- There may be a business need for you to carry out other duties within the business that are within your skill set.

Experience working in a transport office. (Required)
Excellent Communication Skills. (Required)
Ability to work well under pressure. (Required)
Competent with Microsoft packages including outlook and excel. (Required)
Previous experience using planning tools. (Desired)
