The Role
Our client, a leading company with over 50 years of expertise in wellbeing products, is seeking a skilled Group Product Manager to drive the strategic vision for their product ranges. Reporting to the CEO/Marketing Lead, you will lead brand strategy, oversee the execution of marketing plans, and ensure consistent brand identity across all channels. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the company’s consumer offerings and achieve strategic goals and profitability targets.
- Leading the implementation of the long-term brand strategy for wellbeing products.
- Planning and delivering annual performance targets aligned with the company’s three-year plan.
- Overseeing the development and execution of brand campaigns, including managing creative agencies and partnerships.
- Ensuring brand guidelines are consistently applied across media channels, packaging, and touchpoints.
- Conducting market research and analysing retail EPOS data to understand audience segmentation.
- Collaborating with external partners to maintain a positive media presence and achieve cost-effective PR and advertising.
- Measuring branding effectiveness through KPIs, such as brand awareness and ROI across various channels.
- Building the brand profile in key sectors, including Self-Care, Positive Health, and Modern-Clean-Beauty.
- Driving awareness of brand heritage, functionality, and emotional benefits across touchpoints.
- Managing the product lifecycle, focusing on hero products and market competitiveness.
- Mentoring and motivating the marketing team to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have at least four years of experience in brand marketing and hold degree-level and marketing qualifications. Proven success in new product development (NPD), familiarity with the health and wellbeing market, and experience with external communication and research agencies are highly desirable. A strong understanding of FMCG and SMCG market dynamics, coupled with exceptional communication and leadership skills, will make you an excellent fit for this role. This role could suit someone who has worked as a Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, or Product Development Lead in the health and wellbeing sector.
