ATA is working with a large manufacturing group, who are looking for experienced production shift manager to join their team. The company who turnover over £400 million have a fantastic reputation within their market space & due to recent changes in the legislations have saw a huge increase in the need for their product. This increase has allowed them to put forward exciting plans to improve site efficiency, upgrade machinery and increase the size of their production team.

This will be spearheaded by a diverse and down to earth plant manager, alongside an experienced operations team. This opportunity is fantastic for any production shift manager who is looking for stability and long-term employment.

About the role

As a production shift manager responsibilities will include:

• Management of a production team of 17 operators.
• Ensure production targets are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Daily management of KPIs, including but not limited to yield, output, waste and safety.
• Completing quality checks ensuring the product is produced to the highest standards
• Oversee and maintain training and development of production staff.
• Acting site lead during the night shifts.

About you

To be considered for this production shift manager role you should be/have the following:

• Previous experience working within a shift manager/production supervisor capacity.
• Due to the nature of the site, experience within manufacturing from an industrial environment would be beneficial.
• Experience with KPI management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams.
