Role – Trainee Water Sampler Contract – 12 Month contract with scope to move into a permanent role Start date: ASAP Interviews: ASAP Salary £12.78 per hour = £24,500 per annum Hours of work: 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 6 am – 9 pm Location: Huntingdon Company Vehicle: Supplied and have to pick up from depot and drop off at the end of your shift.   Are you looking to kick start your career to gain some valuable site based sampling experience?   If so the Trainee Water Sampler role could be ideal for you !   This is a 12 month contract based Huntingdon which will very likely move into a permanent position.   This role would be ideal for someone with an interest in water sampling who is looking to kick start their career or someone looking to gain experience in the Water / Scientific field or someone who a scientific or technical background that is good at following process. Alternatively any experience of performing any sort of site based sample collection would make you ideal.   The role is based around collecting water samples in a field based capacity in location such as rivers, reservoirs, new housing developments.  Once you have collected the samples you will need to log and store them individually as well as deliver them to a laboratory. This role will involve a significant amount of driving ( all in the local area) so candidates must feel comfortable driving up to 5 hours per day.   In order to be suitable for this role you MUST HAVE:   A full UK Drivers license ( manual license) Be comfortable driving a transit van Have science, geology, water or similar related qualifications at a A Level or degree level NOTE the above qualification would be advantageous and are not essential Be able to drive to Huntingdon Depot – Near Hichinbrooke Hospital Be comfortable working unsupervised ( once trained ) Be able to commit to working Monday – Friday 37 hours between 6 am – 6pm Flexible working available between these hours.   On offer is £12.78 p/h 37 hours per week  = £24500 per annum + overtime and benefits.   Please apply ASAP with a copy of your CV as this role will move quickly.  Once you have applied please call Dave on (phone number removed) for further details / to discuss
