We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join this school. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support students in their learning journey, assist in the development of educational activities, and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers to provide both academic and emotional support to students, helping them achieve their potential and making a real difference in their school experience.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons.

  • Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning.

  • Help maintain a calm and orderly classroom, supporting positive behavior.

  • Prepare classroom resources and materials for lessons.

  • Supervise students during breaks and assist with their transition to and from lessons.

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and colleagues to track student progress.

  • Assist in the assessment of students’ work and provide feedback to help them improve.

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting (preferred but not required).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with students and staff.

  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive attitude.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Good organizational skills and an ability to manage time effectively.

  • A current DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
