The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
As the External Funding Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating cross-council efforts to secure funding from various sources, including government and charitable trusts. You will lead external funding strategy development, support colleagues with their bids, and provide regular briefings to service heads on emerging funding opportunities. Your ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and funders will deliver successful funding applications and collaborations. In addition to being responsible for monitoring the progress of submitted bids and ensuring compliance with financial and legal obligations, you will provide regular feedback and training to improve future applications.
We are looking for a candidate with at least two years of practical experience in bid writing and securing external funding. You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build mutually beneficial relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders. As well as strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
