Joiner

Overview We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various joinery techniques and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship. As a Joiner, you will play a vital role in constructing, assembling, and repairing structures and fixtures. Duties * Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. * Utilise power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and joining materials. * Perform masonry work as required for various projects. * Conduct painting tasks to finish surfaces and enhance durability. * Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fittings with precision. * Ensure that all work is plumb, level, and square to meet industry standards. * Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site including electricians and roofers. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Experience * Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. * Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous. * Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders. * Experience with hand tools specific to joinery tasks. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. * Knowledge of electrical installations related to joinery work is beneficial. * Previous experience in roofing or related construction fields is a plus.
