Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Night Production Manager (Food) for an established and successful food manufacturing company based in Callington, Cornwall.
This is an on-site based permanent role working Nights Monday to Thursday 18:00 to 06:00. This role also includes a Competitive salary plus an excellent bonus package such as;

This is an instrumental role as a Night Production Manager that will see you managing the day to day and longer term activities within the department and being accountable for attaining daily production plans.
What your day will look like as a Night Production Manager (Food):
Within your department, you will be accountable and responsible for;
- Leading the staff within your department or production line to become motivated and engaged and carry out staff training, appraisals and coaching where applicable
- Planning, structuring and organising work to set objectives, key logical plans and prioritising critical tasks and monitoring progress.
- Ensuring that all H&S checks are carried out
- Achieving KPIs in relation to production efficiencies, people, quality and profitability through a continuous improvement approach and the manufacturing pillar plan
- Evaluating performance levels against targets daily and taking necessary action on any variances between planned and actual performance
- Co-ordinating permanent and temporary labour during shift
- Understanding the implementation of Allergen controls.
Experience required:
To be successful in your application for this Night Production Manager (Food) role, you will have experience in a production supervisory or management capacity within a food manufacturing environment and therefore hands on experience of running the department.
You will need a commercial awareness and strong commitment to delivering a quality customer service. A Level 3 or above in Food Safety is desirable and you will need a Level 2 and IOSH or above in Health & Safety. You should also have a strong understanding of HACCP and have a resilient, credible leadership style where you can coach, inspire and develop your team
