The Opportunity: This is a fantastic role for a detail-oriented and ambitious Paraplanner who thrives in a collaborative, office-based environment. Working as part of the technical team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Financial Planners, ensuring outstanding client outcomes while meeting regulatory and compliance obligations. Key Responsibilities: * Client Meeting Preparation – Compile comprehensive review packs within agreed SLAs. * Report Writing – Draft high-quality client reports and recommendation letters. * Technical Research – Conduct detailed investment, retirement, and protection product research using internal tools and PROD. * Cashflow Planning – Support advisers with financial forecasting and scenario analysis. * Regulatory Compliance – Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations and ensure all recommendations align with best practices. * Client Record Management – Update and maintain records on Intelligent Office (IO) and SharePoint. * Administrative Support – Prepare advice packs, application forms, and liaise with providers to obtain necessary information. About You: * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in paraplanning, technical report writing, or financial planning support. * Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards Chartered Status). * Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, protection products, and risk profiling. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. * A proactive, organised, and methodical approach, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure. * A growth mindset and strong work ethic, with a passion for learning and continuous development. * A commitment to ethical finance, sustainability, and community engagement. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and financial planning software.
