Job Title: Learning Support Assistant – (Group Support)

Location: Highbury Campus & Northarbour Campus, Portsmouth

Salary: £22,823.51 – £23,363.71 – Full Time Equivalent

Job Type: Various hours available – 36 working weeks per year, 44.2 paid weeks per year

About the role: As a Group Support Learning Support Assistant (LSA) at City of Portsmouth College, you will be required to support a group of students who are studying an Entry or Level 1 programme of study at the college. You will work closely with the teacher to ensure all students are progressing well and being supported as required with their studies. You will promote independent learning and have high expectations to ensure the student achieves their learning goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record students' progress
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher
