Randstad C&P are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join one of their facilities management clients for an insurance client. This role would cover three sites, with the main site located in Sheffield and two others in York. \\n\\nThe working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm.\\n\\nPackage includes:\\n\\nSalary up to £27,000 (depending on experience)\\nCompany Van (Paid Travel Time)\\nOvertime available\\nCore hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week)\\nAnnual leave & bank holidays\\nTraining and development coursesThis role will be covering all trades including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical and mechanical tasks.\\n\\nMain duties will include:\\n\\n1 in 3 on call rota\\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance of the buildings as required\\nWork at the York sites 2 days a week with the remaining time at Sheffield \\nCarry out escorting duties of sub-contractors as and when required\\nControl of water testing regimes and upkeep of the water log book.\\nProcure materials and equipment to carry out works through the Supervisor or Manager.\\nComplete work sheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation from the Clients representative.\\nAdvise Client of minor additional works and compile estimates through the Supervisor or Manager.\\nAttend call outs/breakdowns, carry out fault diagnosis, repair or advise as required.\\nBe available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration Specification\\n\\nExperience working within facilities would be highly regarded \\nStrong interpersonal skills, both written and vocal\\nBasic DBS \\nFull UK driving license If you are interested, please submit an up to date CV and I will be in touch \\n\\nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
