Are you an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer with UK Security Clearance, looking for a contract role on a highly sensitive, cutting-edge project?
We are working with a specialist engineering firm that is a leader in its field both in the UK and globally. Due to the nature of the work, this role is fully office-based in Surrey.
About the Role: As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will take responsibility for architectural and detailed design of advanced electronic solutions. This role requires a strong background in digital and analogue circuit design, compliance testing, and systems integration. You will work closely with project teams and external test houses, ensuring that all designs meet compliance requirements and are efficiently transitioned into production., Lead the architectural and detailed design of electronic solutions.

Collaborate with external test houses to ensure equipment compliance.

Act as a design authority for projects, bids, and product development.

Implement design for manufacture and test, ensuring seamless production transitions.

Perform systems integration, including fault-finding and debugging.

Participate in design review meetings and support project presentations.

Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including schematics, Bill of Materials (BoM), and Change Notes.

Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to refine electronic aspects of products and systems.
Proven ability to design, develop, and review both digital and analogue circuits, from concept to production.

Strong experience in electronics product design, including legislative compliance and test verification.

Proficiency with schematic design tools such as OrCAD.

Experience with high-speed backplanes, cPCI, mixed-signal designs, and extended audio bandwidth.

Knowledge of low-noise analogue circuits and 24-bit ADCs highly desirable.

Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
