Role – Lead Platform Engineer aka Lead DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineering Team Lead, DevOps Manager, Platform Manager Location Nr Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Stockton upon Tees – North East / Durham (2 days office) Salary 76 – 81K 25 days (Buy / Sell) 5% Pension, Free Gym, Annual Bonus, Health, Free Breakfast, Friday PM Drinks & Regular Socials The role You will lead a team of 4 DevOps and Platform Engineers and also deputise for the Head of Software Engineering. It is a technical hands on role although that side of it is likely to be 10 – 20% of your time. You will be responsible for Technical Oversight / Leadership, Platform Strategy and Design, 1-2-1's, Appraisals, coaching and mentoring, As a technology leader you will have to manage stakeholder across the business. The role also requires skills around FinOps, Budgeting and Cost Control.
