Contracts Manager/Surveyor Location: Bromley Salary: GBP40,000 – GBP50,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (working 3 days on-site and 2 days in the office or from home) Job type: Full-time, permanent A van and fuel card are provided! Bridge Recruitment is currently assisting one of our established clients in recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager/Surveyor to join their expanding team. The role primarily involves dealing with domestic insurance claims, with some work in the commercial sector. Purpose of the Contracts Manager/Surveyor: Responsible for the delivery of small works & maintenance repairs. Oversee and be responsible for multi-trade operatives & subcontractors, including plumbing, carpentry, joinery, glazing, wet trades, grounds work, painting and decorating, roofing. Manage and estimate insurance claims and maintenance jobs, assessing what needs to be done and scoping the work on the client system. Manage workload, liaising with tradespeople and customers. Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager/Surveyor: Assist in preparing estimates, bids, and tenders. Assist in developing procurement programmes. Assist in presenting the contract brief to clients. Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams, including subcontractors, as per contract requirements. Manage site personnel, work activities, and resources to meet contract requirements. Control contract progress towards completion. Manage individual contract budgets.
