Managing Director

Fully expensed company car or car allowance

Location: Worcestershire 5 days a week, some international travel

Are you ready to lead a team that drives innovation in the automotive industry? Tired of the ordinary and looking to make a real impact?

We’re seeking a Managing Director to steer a globally recognised engineering business that designs cutting-edge systems for customers like BMW and Prodrive. With a big push from the industry for rapid development of EV powertrains, you’ll be helping to engineer a cleaner, smarter planet for the future!

What you’ll be doing

  1. You’ll be responsible for the UK operation, leading and managing the operation with oversight of 100+ engineers.
  2. You’ll work directly with automotive OEMs to develop existing relationships, create new ones, and win new projects.
  3. You’ll manage ongoing projects and coordinate installations internationally and across the UK.
  4. You’ll collaborate with the wider global business on cross-collaboration efforts and execution of strategic goals.

About you

You’ll be degree qualified in an engineering-related field and have experience managing profit and loss, ideally in a GM or MD position, and working directly with automotive OEMs or familiar with the automotive supply chain. You’ll have a track record in business growth, profitability, and engineering team development with revenues of approximately £30-£50m.

Although you’ll be known as someone who gets things done, you’ll also be the type of leader that likes to know their people by their first name.
