Are you ready to lead a team that drives innovation in the automotive industry? Tired of the ordinary and looking to make a real impact?
We’re seeking a Managing Director to steer a globally recognised engineering business that designs cutting-edge systems for customers like BMW and Prodrive. With a big push from the industry for rapid development of EV powertrains, you’ll be helping to engineer a cleaner, smarter planet for the future!
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for the UK operation, so the buck stops with you. You’ll be growing the UK business, leading and managing the operation with oversight of 100+ engineers, and working directly with automotive OEMs in developing the existing relationship, helping to create new ones and winning new projects.
You’ll be managing ongoing projects and coordinating installations internationally and across the UK whilst working with the wider global business on cross collaboration efforts, global team projects, and in the execution of strategic goals.
About You
You’ll be degree qualified in something engineering related and have experience in managing and being responsible for the profit and loss, probably in a GM or MD type position ideally working directly with automotive OEMs or at least familiar with the automotive supply chain. You’ll have a track record in business growth, profitability, and engineering team development with revenues of approximately £30-£50m.
Although you’ll be known as someone who gets things done, you’ll also be the type of leader that likes to know their people by their first name.
How To Apply
Apply here or search for Sam Birtwistle on LinkedIn where you will find my contact details at the top of my profile page. Don’t worry if your CV isn’t up to date, we’ll deal with that later if needed.
