Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and client-focused legal firm? We are looking for a capable and motivated paralegal to join a busy Glasgow-based team, managing a broad range of conveyancing transactions and supporting senior fee earners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload supporting a Director and senior fee earners, including:
- Handling the full life cycle of residential conveyancing transactions, including purchases, sales, remortgages, first registrations, and transfers of part
- Drafting legal documents including missives, title deeds, and LBTT returns
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers, and solicitors throughout transactions
- Conducting AML checks and assessing source of funds and wealth
- Attending to settlements and distribution of proceeds
- Registering title deeds with Registers of Scotland
- Ordering and reviewing title searches and property reports
- Supporting Directors and colleagues in business and property transactions
- Maintaining accurate case files and complying with Data Protection and regulatory standards
- Preparing regular reports to update Directors on caseload progress
- Providing team cover and support during holidays or absences
