Core Responsibilities
Working with a small team of mechanics, the role would include but not limited to the following:
Carrying out repairs and maintaining the company fleet of trailers.
Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and carrying our vehicle checks.
Carrying out maintenance and vehicle servicing.
Maintaining other plant and equipment operated by the company.
Preparing new vehicles for on road uses.
Welding where required.
Requirements
No formal qualifications are required for this role however experience of working as a semi-skilled HGV mechanic or directly as a trailer fitter will be essential.
