Overview Of The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join Clarksfield Primary Schools team. As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice you will gain many new skills to help you develop throughout the apprenticeship. During your time as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice you will be based in a classroom environment and will help support the young learners within their lessons and also will be involved in planning lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the line manager, class teachers, and other staff to support the learning of whole classes, selected groups or individuals as instructed
- Promote positive pupil behaviour in line with academy policies and help keep pupils on task
- Interact with, and support pupils, according to individual needs and skills
- Raise standards of achievement for all pupils
- Encourage pupils to become more independent learners
- Provide support for their emotional, social, and physical welfare
- Support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life
- Participate in the performance and development review process, taking personal responsibility for identification of learning, development and training opportunities in discussion with line manager
- Support learning by arranging/providing resources for lessons/activities under the direction of the teacher
Apprenticeship Summary
You will work towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification across a total duration of 16 months! Training provider: LMP Group. All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release. An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship!
