We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Security Officer with fantastic customer service skills, who would like to work at a 53,400 sq ft eleven-storey building comprised of multi-let office space, including two vacant floors, with restaurant and leisure accommodation at ground/podium level.
Information:
- Position: Corporate Security Officer
- Location: London (SW9)
- Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
- Hours: Average 42 hours per week
- Shifts: 4 On 4 Off – Days
Job Requirements:
- SIA Licence required
- Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs.
- Must have good command of the English language
- Excellent levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
- Working alongside building management to ensure a welcoming environment for all
- Enforcing policies and procedures
- Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
- Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
Responsibilities:
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet.
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift.
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports.
- To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
- The role includes conducting opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, and conducting emergency procedures.
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company.
