Director of Financial Crime Risk

3 days a week in the London office / 2 from home

This is a crucial strategic 1LOD role where you will lead a team of skilled financial crime specialists on conducting risk assessments, on-site reviews, and looking at the AML business risk for the client portfolio.

You will be responsible for:

• Owning the risk regarding understanding clients’ framework, policy, and risk appetites in line with the banks
• Interaction with the board, CEO, and sales in regard to risk mitigation and client escalations
• Managing a strong team of specialists and being the ultimate escalation point for the 1LODS

To help you decide if you’re suitable, we are only looking for profiles with:

• 7+ years in financial crime, client risk assessment, on-site reviews, or enhanced due diligence (not KYC please)
• Current right to work in the UK
