We are currently recruiting two dynamic and resilient Support Workers to join a specialist SEND school in Ealing. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong behavioural management skills who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Autism and complex needs.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced SEN staff to deliver tailored support programmes and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. The position offers both challenge and reward, ideal for candidates looking to deepen their experience within specialist education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with severe Autism and challenging behaviours
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction
  • Support students\’ academic, emotional, and social development across the school day
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with pupils and staff
  • Assist with lesson delivery and adapt learning resources to suit individual needs
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
  • Respond calmly and effectively to behavioural incidents in line with school policies

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people, particularly those with SEN and behavioural needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
