Pertemps are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to start work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary ongoing role and weekend work is required.
The role requires all Drivers to deliver various homeware goods directly into customers' premises with the help of a driver's mate. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and hardworking Driver, responsible for the delivery each day to a pre-determined schedule to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
- Duties of a Class 2 Driver:
- Delivering homeware to customers' addresses
- Building good relationships with customers
- Ensuring safety of vehicle with the help of your driver's mate
- At times you will act as a driver's mate and banksman
- Requirements for this Class 2 HGV Role:
- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
- HGV Class 2 Licence with 1 years' experience of driving
- CPC card and Digital Tacho Card
- Flexible for shift patterns
