An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer to join a professional and successful law firm in the Ashford area.

Education/Package:

  • Degree and LPC technical qualification required
  • Established IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • A desire to learn and succeed
  • Attractive salary/package available, largely depending on experience and caseloads

The Position:

  • As Conveyancer you will be conducting matters on behalf of clients
  • You must be able to demonstrate a high degree of competence in all conveyancing matters
  • Management of support services for which you will be responsible, including the supervision of own support staff
  • Active participation in marketing activities, networking and developing new business
  • Financial control with particular regard to cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures
  • Providing assistance to other fee earners within the practice as required with particular emphasis during periods of sickness and annual leave
  • Bill clients in accordance with notified charging rates, in accordance with time spent on the client file and to achieve financial targets for income
  • Minimise risk in dealing with all work and ensure that all files are managed correctly, in accordance with the risk and file management procedures within the firm
  • Undertake suitable training and to comply with the training policy within the firm and the competency framework of the SRA
