Supply Teacher

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of education during periods of staff absence, ensuring that students continue to make progress and engage with their learning. You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons, manage the classroom effectively, and contribute to the supportive and inclusive culture of our school.

• Maintain consistency in teaching and learning during the absence of regular staff.

• Implement lesson plans and adapt them to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Promote a positive and productive classroom environment through effective behavior management.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the permanent teaching staff.

• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that allows all students to thrive.

• Adhere to the school’s safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Enhanced DBS check will be required (or willingness to undergo one)
