The Professional Security services co-ordinator works within the Professional security services team which is part of the Cyber security division. The Division is responsible for the full life cycle of security services including inception, introduction, management and development.

The role:

The role is part of the Professional Services team which is the team responsible for the provision of a range of cyber security services including Penetration Testing, Cyber Security Assessment Cyber Essentials and other security services.

Your role of the co-ordinator is to assist in the co-ordination of these services. You will also support development of services to ensure they continue to meet emerging requirements of the user community and supports security services managers in formulating future strategy for the services.

If you are passionate about cyber security, then this could be the role for you, as training and development in key areas will be provided to support your ongoing learning., * Communication: Acting as a first point of contact for Clients, Internal and External via email /Teams and Telephone.

  • Scheduling: Coordinating and prioritising engagements.

  • Collaboration: Working with teams and other members to allocate engagements to the testing team and Security specialists

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring all aspects of the project are completed to a high standard.

  • Record Keeping: Maintaining digital records, processing and reporting with accuracy.

  • Documentation: Creation and maintaining spreadsheets, and reports.

  • Service Management: Ensuring Customer expectations and satisfaction are met.

  • Deadline Management: Monitoring deadlines and progress to ensure delivery in a timely fashion and within budget.

  • Engagement Oversight: Taking ownership and responsibility for overseeing the delivery of an engagement and making necessary adjustments to meet specifications and high standards.

  • Experience: Proven work experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator, or similar role.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent MS office Skills

  • The ability to work under pressure

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and engagements simultaneously.

  • Ability to manage and adapt to change in an ever-evolving department.

  • Problem-Solving: Able to address and resolve issues independently and efficiently.

  • Attention to detail – Ensuring all aspects of the engagements are delivered to a high standard.

Nice to have

  • Ability to work under own initiative

  • Comes from and IT or Service background (not essential)

Skills & personal qualities:

Need to have

  • Helpful and friendly manner

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Organised and can manage priorities effectively

  • Excellent time management

  • Ability to work independently and to support the larger team

Nice to have

  • Experience with Scheduling tools – training will be given

  • Ticketing service experience – training will be given

  • CRM experience – training will be given

Qualifications & training:

  • ITIL Foundation, but not essential

  • Prince2 Foundation, but not essential
