In line with department policies and procedures, and with a focus on stakeholder engagement and data management, assist the Account Manager with a variety of administrative duties to support the management of the Business Support Services team.

Be responsible for the day-to-day management of Business Support Services engagement projects and associated data to ensure the reputation and rigour of the organisation is maintained.

In line with department policies and procedures, use in-house software to track project progress, and provide regular reports to the Account Manager and external stakeholders as required.

In line with departmental policies and procedures, respond to external stakeholder enquires professionally and with the highest level of customer service.

Take responsibility for internal systems and processes to ensure project deadlines are met.

Collate and maintain high quality departmental data, in compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Data Protection Act and GDPR.

Provide general support to the Account Manager and assist with other similar work as required.

Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department, and others within the organisation as required, to support organisational objectives.

At the request of any senior manager, undertake any other duties consistent with this role in support of the organisation.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with external stakeholders.

Excellent and proven organisational skills, with the ability to evaluate, prioritise, and self-motivate to meet deadlines.

First class written and verbal presentations skills.

A positive and proactive approach to using new software.

Excellent IT skills with moderate to advanced level Excel, and strong competency with the MS Office 365 suite.

Excellent eye for detail, with developed analytical skills, and the ability to prepare reports as required.

Structured, analytical, and comfortable working with complex data sets.

Comfortable handling and communicating basic scientific information and technical data.

Strong commercial awareness and acumen.

Strong commitment to team working and an ability to work well with colleagues in different disciplines across the whole organisation.

Qualifications (IT/Academic/Vocational)

Educated to degree standard or qualified by relevant experience.

Experience

Experience of managing a project with multiple priorities and timelines and of assimilating technical information.

Experience of maintaining high quality accurate records, requiring an eye for detail.

Demonstrable experience of managing data using software e.g., Excel, CRM software, and online form builders (ideally to include Salesforce and/or Form Assembly, but not essential).

Experience of being responsible for complex sets of data with multiple priorities, and of assimilating and reviewing large amounts of technical data in a busy environment

Excellent communication skills and experience of successful networking with stakeholders.

Experience of working in a busy professional environment, handling varied and sometimes conflicting workloads.
