The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers and the smooth operation of our service department. Duties * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. * Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. * Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately. * Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. * Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times. * Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications * Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. * Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
