The client is seeking a Project Manager to join a small but dynamic design agency specializing in F&B, hospitality, and residential projects. This is a client-facing role, managing projects from concept to completion, and ensuring high-quality design delivery. The team is based in West London and offers a collaborative and agile working environment.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with an interior design or architectural background, experienced in managing projects across all RIBA stages, with budgets ranging from £500k – £5 million. The successful candidate will oversee multiple stakeholders, manage project timelines, and lead a small design team focused on execution and delivery.
Projects vary in scale and typology, so organized professionals who thrive in a flexible and fast-paced environment will enjoy this role. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication are key, as you will be liaising with various internal and external stakeholders across multiple project stages. The projects are beautifully designed and curated – a mix of Design & Build and traditional contract models, depending on each client\’s needs.
Ideal for designers who are:
- Experienced Project Managers seeking more autonomy and responsibility in their daily role.
- Senior Designers/Architects who excel in project coordination and feel their strengths are better suited to management and organization rather than CAD and technical production.
UK experience is essential as all projects are London-based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client-facing role, managing relationships and ensuring seamless project execution.
- Overseeing design-led projects across London.
- Managing projects from finalization, commercial, and cost perspectives.
- Coordinating with internal design teams, contractors, and external consultants.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Trained as an Interior Designer or Architect (ARB/RIBA preferred).
- Proven experience managing UK-based projects from inception to completion.
- Team leadership and management experience.
- Ability to oversee budgets and track project performance.
- Understanding of CAD/Adobe software (though this is not a production role).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The client will only consider candidates whose portfolios demonstrate residential, F&B, or hospitality projects. The client can only accept profiles with the right to work in the UK.
