The Client

This dynamic, close-knit team is passionate about sustainability, creativity, and delivering exceptional projects. They are looking for a proactive Studio Operations & Administration Manager to support their thriving business.

This is an incredible opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied, fast-paced environment. You\’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of studio operations, managing financial processes, supporting project delivery, and contributing to business growth.

The Role

In this role, you\’ll be at the heart of the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From managing day-to-day operations to handling client invoicing, supplier payments, and budget tracking, your work will be essential to the company\’s success. You\’ll play a pivotal role in supporting financial activities, assisting with quotes, forecasts, and payment schedules, and working closely with external accountants to maintain accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.

You\’ll also support key projects, collaborating with site teams, coordinating construction schedules, and managing project documentation. Building strong client relationships will be second nature to you, as will fostering effective communication across teams. This is an exciting role for someone eager to make a real difference in a dynamic, design-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee studio operations, ensuring efficient administrative and financial processes.
  • Manage client invoicing, supplier payments, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Support project delivery by coordinating schedules, site teams, and documentation.
  • Assist with preparing fee proposals, quotes, forecasts, and payment schedules.
  • Liaise with clients, organise meetings, and support business development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including health and safety.
  • Maintain and improve operational systems and processes.

What our client needs to see (required):

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within construction or design industries.

What we’d like to see (preferred):

  • Experience using Xero and project management software.
  • Interest in architecture, design, and sustainability.
  • Experience within construction and with CIS

Location: Central London

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + benefits

Start Date: ASAP
