Occupational Therapy Officer

Role Overview: As an Occupational Therapy Officer, you will complete assessments in the community and in a clinic. These include property access assessments; bathing assessments; assessment of transfers; stair assessments and re-housing assessments.You will provide advice and guidance, assistive equipment and minor/major adaptations (e.g., level access showers). You will work alongside our other social care colleagues and liiase with external partners in health and housing.

• Full UK driving license

• Previous experience working with older people, disabled people, or vulnerable adults

• Ability to produce non-complex assessments and documentation

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

• Computer literacy

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience of working with health and social care

• Experience of working with children with disabilities
