Full nursery duties: including preparing meals/batch cooking, children’s laundry, wardrobe/toy management and ensuring child-related areas are kept clean and tidy.

School drop-offs and pick-ups (the family like their children to walk to/from school), ensuring the children are ready and prepared for their day.

Preparing healthy and nutritious meals, including lunch boxes and getting approval from mother on meal planning

Assisting with homework and supporting the children’s development through fun, age-appropriate activities and play.

Planning the children’s weekly schedules; including pre-booking activities, events and playdates.

Maintaining open and positive communication with both parents regarding the children’s progress and any concerns that may arise.

Travel support – assisting with childcare during trips and ensuring a smooth routine. (Note: for holidays involving sea/swimming pool activities the family usually have additional temporary cover with two nannies on duty.)

Encouraging values of kindness, respect, good etiquette and responsibility in the children.

Light family PA duties and household errands.
Our client has a preference towards a Norland-trained applicant, having had several long-term Norland nannies work for their family. This role is also best-suited to a candidate who has had previous experience of working with multiple children in a busy family setting, to travel internationally with family abroad.

Ideally Norland-trained or possessing a degree in a related field (or equivalent formal training).

We have a warm and welcoming American family residing in Kensington, who are seeking a dedicated and nurturing, trained nanny to take over from their much-loved Norland Nanny leaving after 3.5 years. The family has been living in London since last summer and have two sets of twins; 6-year-old girls (turning 7 in spring) and boy/girl twins aged 3 year (4 in the summer).
All the children attend full-time school & nursery locally, and they are looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into the family environment. This a 7/24 on/off ‘Rota’ position with a mid-week handover and usual flexibility to support with travel., A top competitive salary available, depending on experience and qualifications.
