This is a fantastic opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy that specialises in CDM, Principal Design, and Building Regulations compliance. With a strong reputation in the industry, they work closely with BSA Principal Designers, developers, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with the latest building safety legislation.
As a Building Control Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on Building Regulations compliance, ensuring that projects meet the required safety and legal standards. You will work closely with Principal Designers under the Building Safety Act (BSA), assisting in the delivery of high-quality building control services across a range of sectors.
Your key responsibilities as a Building Control Surveyor will include:
- Assessing and approving plans for compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation.
- Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance and identifying potential issues.
- Liaising with clients, Principal Designers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to provide expert guidance.
- Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections and assessments.
- Staying up to date with changes in building regulations and industry best practices.
To be successful as a Building Control Surveyor, you should have:
- A relevant qualification in Building Control, Surveying, Construction, or a related field.
