About the Role:

The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons for pupils in that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress regardless of their ability levels.

Stretching and challenging the learning and progress all pupils Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.

Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils. Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.

Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience

Pay, Hours and Contract:

  • Pay – Paid to Scale
  • Contract – Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2025.
  • Temporary Contract

  • Location – St Helens

About the School:

The role is based in an inspirational Primary School in St Helens. There is an opportunity for the role to be based across any age group from EYFS to Year 6 depending on the experience, specialism and preference of the successful Candidate. The School has an outstanding supportive culture and Leadership Team, where staff work as a Team within classrooms to provide high standards of support to pupils.

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
  • QTS and Primary School Teaching experience within the UK.
  • Experience of short, medium and long-term planning
  • Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
  • A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching
  • Experience of Teaching within the UKA genuine passion for Teaching
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
