Role Summary: As a Field-Based Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial and industrial kitchen equipment at client sites across the South East. This role requires a multi-skilled individual, preferably with an electrical bias and a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial and industrial kitchen equipment. * Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime for clients. * Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards. * Liaise with clients onsite to provide excellent customer service and resolve technical queries. * Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and maintenance logs. * Provide guidance on the care and proper use of kitchen equipment to clients. * Collaborate with the wider team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. * Travel to client sites across the South East (company vehicle provided if required). Person Specification Experience: Proven experience in maintenance and repair of commercial or industrial kitchen equipment, or similar fields. Technical Skills: Strong electrical background with a good spread of trade experience across mechanical and other technical disciplines. Driving: Full UK driving licence is essential; own transport is preferred, but a company vehicle can be provided.
