Police Constable – Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP)
Staffordshire Police are recruiting a Police Constable through their Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP). The role offers a career that is challenging, with no two days the same, and plays a vital part in ensuring Staffordshire is a safer place to live.
Starting Salary: £31,164
Eligibility:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any subject from any university (excluding a degree in Professional Policing). Examples include a 2:2 BSc (Hons) in Psychology or a 2:1 BA (Hons) in History.
- A full UK manual driving licence.
- Ability to upload certificates and other documentation during the application process.
Selection Process:
- Application – closing date 4th November
- National Sift – throughout applications
- Online Assessment Centre – scheduled 27th November – 4th December
- Face‑to‑face Interview – scheduled around 19th January

- Course dates from April 2026
