The Department of Clinical Neurophysiology at the Barts Health NHS Trust is inviting applications for an enthusiastic, qualified Specialised Clinical Physiologist/Clinical scientist (band 6) to join a busy team at the Barts Health NHS Trust. The department is situated at the Royal London Hospital serving a wide and diverse area of London and offers experience in the full range of Clinical Neurophysiology investigations (adults and children). The department provides an outpatient and inpatient service at the Royal London Hospital and also to other hospital within the Trust, offering routine, sleep and prolonged EEGs to both adults and children. A portable service is also provided for adult, paediatric and neonatal intensive care. Adult and paediatric video telemetry and home telemetry are also performed, as well as multimodality evoked potentials, MSLT and Nerve Conduction Studies for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
The department is committed to employees’ career development and wellbeing, the latter being an area of renewed focus. Applicants will be competent practitioners and must have a BSc in Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent formal specialist training.
The candidates should have a minimum of a BSc (Hons) in clinical physiology (Neurophysiology) or alternatively completed equivalent formal training.
