The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We are looking for and experience support worker to manage a caseload of clients dealing with homelessness. Ideal candidate would have experience working with young people to gain independance and/ or adults. This is a Full time contract position until at least March 2025. To be successful in your application you MUST: * Hold a valid DBS ( we can process new DBS\’ in house) * Have knowledge of working within the supported housing sector. * need experience of working with young people and/ or adults dealing with homelessness. * Experience of working within housing enviroment *Good knowledge of complex needs. * Knowledge of equality, diversity, and safeguarding procedures. Basic skills, able to deal with emergencies, good writing skills, good communication skills and someone who is polite. As a support worker you will need: – The ability to communicate sensitively and effectively to the residents when needed – The ability to build good relationships with the residents even if they are unfriendly at first – A good understanding of SMART goals and support plans – Experience of conducting weekly key-working sessions – Engaging residents in residential activities – The ability to work well in a team when required – A non-judgmental approach and attitude towards residents – A commitment to supporting people in difficult circumstances – To have understanding, patience and good listening skills – The ability to stay calm under pressure – The ability to engage the residents in residential activities to be proactively using your initiative – Good time management and organisational skills – A flexible approach – Good team working skills If you have any additional information, feel free to contact Chantelle.
