Senior Macro Rates and FX Analyst – Buy-Side Investment Firm

An established global investment firm is seeking a Macro Rates and FX Analyst to join its macro team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a highly successful and innovative investment process, leveraging proprietary technology and data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate trade ideas across Rates & FX, with a strong focus on both relative value and directional opportunities
• Develop and enhance econometric models, tools, and frameworks to support investment decision-making
• Conduct in-depth macroeconomic research and analysis to drive high-conviction investment strategies
• Engage in portfolio construction, identifying optimal instruments to express macro views

Key Requirements:

• 5 years+ experience in a leading buy side or sell side institute
• Strong academic background in econometrics, quantitative finance, or a related discipline
• Proven track record in generating successful trade ideas within macro markets
• Deep understanding of macroeconomic drivers and financial markets
• Experience with econometric modelling; coding skills are advantageous
