We are seeking a Mobile Cleaner to attend a number of sites for one of our Social Housing partners, in the Chelmsford and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 8.00am - 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is £12.60. A Full Manual UK Driving Licence is required, but a Company Vehicle is provided.
Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Mobile Cleaner:
- Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
- Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
- Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
- Hoovering of carpeted areas
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
- Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
- Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels
- Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
What are we looking for?
- Prior professional Cleaning experience
- IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
- Willing to undergo a Standard or Enhanced DBS check (We cover the cost of the DBS check)
