We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1-1 Support Assistant to join our team and work with a child in Year 5 who has mild learning difficulties. Responsibilities: -Provide one-on-one support to a Year 5 student with mild learning difficulties, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. -Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the student’s specific needs. -Collaborate with the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to develop and adapt teaching materials. -Support the student in accessing the curriculum, ensuring personalized learning objectives are met. -Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to enhance the student’s social and emotional development. -Implement strategies to promote independence and self-esteem.
