Signal Processing Engineer

SALARY – UP TO £55,000

Location – Bristol

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Digital Signal Processing Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of waveforms and algorithms for weapons system products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Real-time digital signal processing systems
  • Waveform design and implementation
  • Waveform modelling
  • System-level RF modelling
  • Systems modelling and autocode generation
  • Requirements management and systems design
  • Providing technical leadership to junior engineers

Responsibilities

What we want from you:

Ideally, you will have a degree in a STEM subject and a solid understanding of DSP algorithms at the systems level. You should have a strong background in signal processing throughout the entire product lifecycle. Experience with firmware coding for DSP systems is advantageous. Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink is required, and experience with C++ is desirable. You should be capable of working autonomously within a multi-skilled team, with a strong commitment to achieving project goals. Additionally, you should have experience conducting technical investigations, assessing problems, and proposing design solutions within an innovative culture.
