Job Description:

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join our team on a full-time, long-term cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing support and intervention where needed.
  • Maintain high expectations for student achievement and classroom behaviour.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of resources.
  • Engage in departmental meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree or PGCE in Geography (A Humanities Degree or PGCE will not be considered).
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
