About the Role

Are you a driven sales professional looking to make an impact in an exciting growth sector? At Best.Energy, we\’re on a mission to drive the transition to net zero, and we need a Business Development Executive to help generate leads and fuel our sales pipeline.

Your primary focus will be engaging potential clients by reaching out on the telephone, ensuring our closing sales professionals have a steady flow of opportunities each week. You’ll be augmented by cutting-edge tools, great data and a close-knit, high performance team around you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Confidently introduce energy management solutions, handle objections, and move prospects through the sales process.
  • Use multiple channels (phone, email, social media) to nurture leads and book appointments.
  • Drive telesales activities; targeting key individuals through our data platform (ZoomInfo) and executing campaigns on the telephone.
  • Maintain and organise the CRM system, ensuring accurate records and identifying opportunities to re-engage potential leads.

What We\’re Looking For

  • A hunger for success and a high-energy approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Strong persuasion skills and resilience in handling objections.
  • Confidence in making outbound calls and engaging with new prospects.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt your approach to different clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in recording sales interactions.
  • Confidence in picking up IT systems; previous CRM experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and LinkedIn for outreach is beneficial.
  • A background in B2B sales or previous cold calling experience would be highly desirable.

Working Location

Our UK office is based in Bristol, and we’d love for you to be within reach. However, we’re open to candidates further afield on a remote-working basis. In either case, you’ll have flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
