Senior Business Director (SEO)

A Media Company is looking for a Senior Business Director (SEO) to help support their client for a 3 month period.

Role Responsibilities:

• Technical SEO

• Technical Strategy

• Commercial knowledge and scoping

• Client servicing

• Senior stakeholder management (internal and client)

Profile:

1. SEO Strategy Development & Execution: Proven experience devising and implementing SEO strategies across multiple markets, ensuring improved business performance.

2. Comprehensive SEO Knowledge: Expertise in technical SEO, Technical Strategy, on-site and off-site SEO best practices, and digital PR, with an understanding of how these areas contribute to business success.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong relationships with senior client contacts, third-party agencies, and internal senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity on SEO goals.

4. Team Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring direct reports

5. Data Analysis & Presentation: Strong analytical skills to identify trends in data (e.g., using GA, Looker Analytics, BrightEdge), and the ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders via PowerPoint or similar tools.

6. Global & Complex Business Experience: Familiarity with working across multiple geographies or with businesses that have multiple overlapping units, particularly in finance or luxury e- commerce sectors.

7. Project Management & Organisation: A track record of successfully managing large projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of delivery.

8. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., AEM, Drupal, Shopify, Sitecore), programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, HTML), Managing site migrations end to end, and proficiency with SEO tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Stat.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3 month contract

Location: London (on-site 3 days a week)

Rate: Up to £420pd (INSIDE IR35)
