The predicted salary is between 43500 - 58000 £ per year.

We are currently working in partnership with a higher educational institution based in Zone 2, who are looking to appoint ER Change Manager on a 6-month FTC.

This will be a full-time with 3 days working from home and a salary of £53,500 to £58,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of change management in an educational institution along with leading on complex employee relations cases and redundancies.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the development and implementation of employee relations (ER) strategies to support organisational change during budget cuts
  • Provide expert ER advice to senior leaders and HR teams to navigate workforce changes, redundancies, and restructuring
  • Develop and deliver training for managers on handling ER matters, including consultations, policy changes, and employee communications
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, university policies, and sector best practices while managing ER risks effectively
  • Oversee employee consultations and negotiations with trade unions and staff representatives to facilitate a fair and transparent change process
  • Monitor the impact of change initiatives on staff morale and engagement, implementing measures to support employee wellbeing and retention

  • Experience completing complex and vast restructures
