Assistant Cost Manager
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30k – 40k + Car Allowance + Healthcare + Insurance
Our client is a well-established, multidisciplinary construction consultancy with several offices located around the UK. We are looking to speak with an ambitious Assistant Cost Manager, who is looking to advance their career and progress in a supportive and inclusive environment. The firm is also highly renowned for providing a great level of support for its employees and offering a great platform for self-development and progression to leadership level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively playing a role in meetings with clients and contractors.
- Assisting with building cost advice at different RIBA stages of projects.
- Preparing feasibility estimates, pre-tender estimates and cost plans.
- Advising contract terms and preparing documentation for building contracts.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Bluebeam and CostX is desirable but not required.
- Experience with report writing.
- Degree or Master’s in Quantity Surveying, or similar.
- Working towards achieving Chartered status (MRICS).
