You will be working towards a 60% New Business Target and 40% Managing existing relationships.
All Sales activity within a specified geographical area:
The ideal candidate will be based in any of the following surrounding areas Sheffield, Peterborough, Nottingham, Leicester, Northampton, Sussex, Surrey, Hemel Hempstead, Kent, Reading, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire
- Managing relationships and opportunities from the existing client base
- Identifying new targets of opportunity
- Formulating plans and strategies to gain contacts with target organizations, leading to obtaining opportunities to tender on new sites/projects
- Planning appropriate responses to those opportunities and compiling detailed and accurate briefs for submission to the Design & Estimating Team
- Use CRM system as a company process to register and track opportunities. To compile reports and forecasts for the Head of Contract and Sales Director as required.
- To assist the Installation and Customer service teams in the resolution of issues arising on-site where Sales support is required
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven background in the Contract Kitchen, Bedrooms & Bathroom marketplace, or closely related product
- The ability to fully understand a customer brief and robustly communicate with the design team to ensure planning conditions are met within a given budget
- A good knowledge of kitchen, bedroom & bathroom design to have persuasive customer relationships affecting conversion outcomes
- A working knowledge of furniture installation processes & needs
- A working knowledge of materials and processes used in the furniture industry.
- Knowledge of furniture industry materials
- Proactive approach to the role and the task of new business generation
- A good, clear, polite communicator with the ability both to work as part of a team and individually.
