Are you a Supply chain professional with purchasing experience who has a keen interest in working within a manufacturing environment? If so, then this is one for you. We are looking to speak to experienced supply chain professionals who have the desire to make positive change and build solid relationships across various functions. You will be the key figure in managing relationships with the company’s suppliers, ensuring that deadlines/timeframes are met and will play a pivotal role to ensure production is running smoothly. You will need to be a team player, as you will be working very closely with the production & finance team. You will need to be organised and punctual, with a good attention to detail. This role will provide you with career progression, the business is going through a huge period of growth, and the role will coincide with that. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the sales team to agree specifications and parts requirements. * Be willing to use your initiative with making quick decisions based on demand. * Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance. * Managing parts and bills of material for production. * Place orders, track vendor progress, and expedite as necessary. * Source components for new product development projects. * Evaluate and negotiate supplier contracts to secure advantageous terms. Working in a fast-paced environment, you must have experience working within FMCG or manufacturing. You will need to be able to hit the ground running and get stuck in. Ideally, we are looking for supply chain executives with a sales/purchasing background with experience in manufacturing. This position is a Monday – Friday days role. Keen to find out more?
